As we sit down to our Thanksgiving meal, we look forward to upcoming holiday meals with Chef Dr. Diondra. Diondra arrives in December and will guest Chef at Farm of Life for the Holidays and New Years. Diondra treated us to samples of her food preparation in October and we were blown away. Her raw chocolate torte is the best I've ever experienced, and I'm a pro with chocolate! Guests at Farm of Life in December and January will get to enjoy Diondra's culinary talents! Don't miss out - make your reservations for the holidays soon.

5 straight days of incessant rain from Tropical Storm Tomas. The South Pacific region of Costa Rica received 3x's the monthly average (November's average) of rain in the first 5 days of the month. We estimated about 60-100 inches of rain in 5 days.
Costa Rica is in a National Emergency. The land is completely saturated. Entire hillsides slide away because the earth could hold no more water. The coast is flooding and coastal roads are underwater.
We made this video of the farm, nearby roads and water drainage through the storm. Drainage on the farm was exceptional and the farm itself fared marvelously. All structures remain dry, roofs did not leak, hills did not slide, electric and Internet remained in-tack, while nearby roads are wrecked.

Listen online to our recorded interview on the Progressive Radio Network. We were interviewed by Caryn Hartglass for her It's All About Food segment in October.
We really enjoyed the experience - attending the Gary Null studio in NYC, sitting around a table with gigantic microphones in front of us and being guided through the interview by the talented Caryn Hartglass. During the interview, we tell our stories of healing fibromyalgia and arthritis with raw foods and a healthy lifestyle.
